Microsoft announces the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition

After a number of rumors and leaks, Microsoft has officially announced the disc-free Xbox One S All-Digital Edition.

The console has the same design to the standard Xbox One S with a Robot White exterior but is even smaller, since there’s no disc drive. The front has a USB port, pairing button, and IR blaster.

There’s also a 1TB hard drive and still has support for 4K Ultra HD High Dynamic Range (HDR) for games and video.

Each Xbox One S All-Digital Edition will come with Minecraft, Forza Horizon 3 and Sea of Thieves bundled in the box.

The Xbox One S All-Digital Edition will cost $299 CAD ($249 USD) when it launches on May 7th, which is $80 CAD ($50 USD) less than the standard Xbox One S.

You can pre-order the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition now from the Microsoft Store, Amazon, and Best Buy.

Microsoft also announced the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Basically, it combines the benefits of Xbox Live Gold and access to the full library on Xbox Game Pass.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will cost $14.99 per month (around $179 per year), when it launches later this year.
