Razer has announced the new Razer Blade 15 Advanced which now comes with Nvidia’s RTX GPUs, Alexa support for their Chroma products, keyboard and mouse for Xbox One and more.

Razer Blade 15 Advanced

The Razer Blade 15 Advanced is available with either a 15.6-inch Full HD matte 144Hz display or a 4K 60Hz multi-touch display.

The laptop comes with the 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8750H processor and 16GB of dual-channel memory but can be configured up to 64GB.

For GPUs, you have the options of the Nvidia RTX 2060, RTX 2070 with Max-Q Design or RTX 2080 with Max-Q.

For ports, the laptop comes with Thunderbolt 3, 3 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.0, Mini Display Port 1.4 and 3.5mm headphone jack.

Storage options for the Razer Blade 15 Advanced include either a 256GB SSD or 512GB SSD. There’s also Windows Hello IR camera support, front-facing speaks and an 80 Wh battery.

The pricing for the Razer Blade 15 Advanced is as follows:

The Razer Blade 15 Advanced will be available on January 29th in the US, Canada, France, UK, Germany and China.

Alexa support for Razer Chroma

Razer’s Chroma can now be controlled via Amazon Alexa. That means your Razer keyboard, mice, headsets and other hardware can be synced to games and verbally controlled using Alexa.

Some voice commands include:

“Alexa, ask Chroma to change my lighting profile to FPS mode.”

“Alexa, sync all of my devices to my team colour.”

“Alexa, ask Chroma to start Overwatch”

“Alexa, ask Razer Synapse to decrease my DPI to 200.”

“Alexa, ask Razer to change Audio settings to Movie mode.”

The new Alexa support will arrive in Q2 to customers in Canada and the US.

Razer Turret for Xbox One

The first wireless keyboard and mouse designed for Xbox One is available now. Razer’s Turret for Xbox One allows gamers to play compatible games on their console using a keyboard and mouse instead of a controller.

The Turret has Razer Chroma lighting and costs $349 CAD ($249 USD). It’s available for pre-order in the US, Canada, UK and Australia from the Microsoft Store.
