Last November, Niantic Labs announced that they working on an AR mobile game called Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. It was originally supposed to launch in 2018 but now it’s been delayed to 2019.
The game will allow players to become real-life Wizards and experience J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World. You’ll be able to learn spells, fight legendary beasts and team up with other players to defeat powerful enemies.
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is being developed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and WB Games San Francisco and published by Warner Bros.’ Portkey Games. It’ll use Niantic’s real-world AR gaming platform, which they used for Pokémon Go.
