Google isn’t the only company working on streaming of high-quality games, Microsoft has announced their game-streaming tech called Project xCloud.
The aim of Project xCloud is to “will offer you the freedom to play on the device you want without being locked to a particular device.”
Gamers are at the center of Project xCloud that’s why Microsoft is making it easier for more than 3000 Xbox One developers to make their content compatible with Project xCloud.
Project xCloud will be compatible existing and future Xbox games and they’ll be playable on smartphones, tablets paired with an Xbox Wireless Controller
Microsoft says scaling and building Project xCloud will take a few years, but the company will begin public trials in 2019, to better adapt to different volumes and locations.
