Alienware has announced their lightest and thinnest gaming laptop to date, the Alienware m15.
The new laptop shares a design that is reminiscent of previous Alienware laptops such as the Alienware 15 R4 with a magnesium alloy body. The Alienware m15 comes in a form factor of 14.3″ by 10.8″ while weighing only 4.78 lbs. The keyboard offers 1.4mm of key travel plus anti-ghosting and can be backlit using Alienware FX.
The 15.6-inch display can be optioned in either full HD or 4K resolution offering up to 144Hz. The battery is 60 Wh but can be upgraded to 90 Wh for up to 17 hours of battery life.
It’s powered by the 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and can be optioned with either a Nvidia GTX 1060 OC or 1070 Max-Q plus up to 32GB of RAM.
For storage, there are lots of options including single storage and dual storage configurations with up to 2 1TB SSDs.
The laptop comes with an Ethernet jack, 2 Type-A USB 3.0 ports, 1 Type-A USB 3.0 port with PowerShare technology, 1 Thunderbolt USB-C port, Alienware Graphics Amplifier port, HDMI 2.0, Mini Display Port and an audio jack.
The Alienware m15 goes on sale in Canada and the US on October 25th, starting at $1,299 USD.
Canadian pricing is still being confirmed but it will come in two colour options, Epic Silver and Nebula Red.
