Disney has renewed DuckTales for a third season, ahead of the second season premiere.

The show stars David Tennant as Scrooge McDuck, Danny Pudi as Huey, Ben Schwartz as Dewey, Bobby Moynihan as Louie, Kate Micucci as Webby Vaderquack, Beck Bennett as Launchpad McQuack, Toks Olagundoya as Mrs. Beakley and Tony Ansel as Donald Duck.

The animated comedy-adventure series chronicles the high-flying adventures of Duckburg’s most famous trillionaire Scrooge McDuck, his mischief-making triplet grandnephews – Huey, Dewey and Louie, temperamental nephew Donald Duck and the trusted McDuck Manor team: big-hearted, fearless chauffer/pilot Launchpad McQuack; no-nonsense housekeeper Mrs. Beakley; and Mrs. Beakley’s granddaughter, Webby Vanderquack, resident adventurer and the triplet’s newfound fierce friend.

Season two of DuckTales will feature guest stars such as Julie Bowen, Edgar Wright, Jack McBrayer, John Hodgman, Jameela Jamil, Libe Barer, Lance Reddick, Paget Brewster, Bernardo de Paula and Arturo del Puerto.

Since premiering in 2017, the DuckTales reboot has gained about 100 million views across various social media and digital platforms during its first season.

DuckTales is co-produced by Francisco Angones (who is also a story editor) and Matt Youngberg (who also serves as executive producer). Meanwhile, Sean Jimenez is the show’s art director.

Season two of DuckTales premieres on Saturday, October 20th.
