GoPro has introduced three new cameras under the HERO7 name.

GoPro HERO7 Black

The GoPro HERO7 Black is the flagship camera in their lineup. The HERO7 Black has a number of feature including HyperSmooth Stabilization which gives you gimbal-like stabilization without needing one.

The HERO7 Black also has a 2-inch touch display and is waterproof up to 33ft (10m) and can record up to 4K video at 60fps and 12-megapixel photos. Just like previous GoPros, the HERO7 Black has voice control in 14 languages.

You can also live stream on the HERO7 Black and once your stream finishes, it’ll be saved to your SD card. SuperPhoto is a mode that helps you take professional-looking photos using HDR, Local Tone Mapping and Multi-Frame Noise Reduction.

TimeWarp Video allows you to take super-stabilized time-lapse videos up to 30x speed. Some of the other features and modes on the HERO7 Black include:

  • Portrait Mode –Native vertical-capture for easy sharing to Instagram Stories, Snapchat and more
  • Enhanced Audio –Re-engineered audio captures increased dynamic range, new microphone membrane reduces unwanted vibrations during mounted situations

  • Face, Smile + Scene Detection –HERO7 Black recognizes faces, expressions and scene-types to enhance automatic QuikStory edits on the GoPro app
  • Short Clips –Restricts video recording to 15-or 30-second clips for faster transfer to phone, editing and sharing. Great for new users and kids
  • Photo Timer –Countdown timer for convenient selfies and group shotsoStunning Image Quality –4K60 video and 12MP photos o
  • Ultra Slo-Mo –8x slow motion in 1080p240o
  • Auto Transfer to Phone –Your photos and videos move automatically from the camera when connected to the GoPro app for on-the-go sharing
  • GPS Performance Stickers –Track speed, distance and elevation, then highlight them by adding stickers to videos in the GoPro app
  • Touch Zoom –Frame your photos and videos with just a touch

The HERO7 Black can be charged up quicking using the Supercharger power adapter. The HERO7 Black is available for pre-order now for $529 CAD ($399 USD) and available on September 27th.

GoPro HERO7 Silver

The GoPro HERO7 Silver shares similar features to the HERO7 Black but comes in a grey colour scheme and can record video at 4K 30 fps and 10-megapixel photos.

Just like the HERO7 Black, the HERO7 Silver is waterproof up to 33ft (10m), has a touchscreen and voice control. The HERO7 Silver also comes with the same modes as the HERO7 Black.

The HERO7 Silver costs $399 CAD ($299 USD) and available on September 27th.

GoPro HERO7 White

The HERO7 White is the cheapest of the new GoPro cameras. It still is waterproof, has voice control, a touchscreen but it can only record Full HD video and 10-megapixel photos.

The GoPro HERO7 White costs $269 CAD ($199 USD) and will be available on September 27th.
