Samsung has unveiled their latest tablet, the Galaxy Tab S4.
The Galaxy Tab S4 is designed to be a 2-in-1 Android tablet, with the ability to use it at home and at work. Meaning that if you buy the Book Cover Keyboard for the tablet, you can use the Android interface in a desktop experience (i.e Samsung DeX).
You can also launch the desktop experience on theGalaxy Tab S4 by launching it from the Quick Panel.
Then you can run Microsoft Office and Android apps in multiple windows. You also have the option to connect your Galaxy Tab S4 to an external monitor using an HDMI to USB-C adapter, and then you can use the tablet’s screen as a trackpad or sketch pad.
The screen is 10.5 inches and is WQXGA resolution. It’s running Android 8.1 and it comes with an S Pen. The Galaxy Tab S4 will also come with Bixby
The tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB of RAM. It also has 64 or 256GB of internal storage plus a microSD card slot and USB-C port.
There’s a 7,300 mAh battery with Fast Charging support as well as 4 speakers that are tuned by AKG and have Dolby Atmos support.
The Galaxy Tab S4 also comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera. The rear camera can record up to 4K at 30fps.
No Canadian pricing or availability has been announced for the Galaxy Tab S4.
