Up until recently, Audi has only shown off the exterior of their e-tron prototype but now they’re giving us our first glimpse at some of the technology featured inside.
The electric SUV has 3D sound, thanks to the Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System that has 16 speakers and delivers up to 705 watts of power.
The e-tron has optional virtual exterior mirrors (i.e cameras instead of mirrors) and the video will appear on high-contrast 7-inch OLED displays and are digitally processed.
The driver will be able to choose from three views in the MMI system depending on the situation, such as highway driving, turning and parking.
The e-tron’s centre console has open sidewalls and the hand rest has an integrated gear change level that floats above the console.
The interior has options such as Valcona leather or dark brushed aluminum. The wheelbase is about 9.6ft (2,928 mm) which allows for ample room for five people and rear legroom equivalent to a full-size SUV.
You can find out more about the e-tron on Audi’s website.
