Marvel’s latest film, Avengers: Infinity War has just crossed the $2 billion mark worldwide, making it the fourth film in history to do so.
The film is only in its 48th day since being released back in April. It’s the second Walt Disney Studios film to hit $2 billion, with the other being Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Avengers: Infinity War is currently the fifth highest-grossing film domestically with $656.1 million (as of June 11th, 2018) and holds the record for biggest domestic debut ever with $257.7 million in its opening weekend.

The film has grossed $1.346 billion internationally, making it third highest-grossing release ever. Avengers: Infinity War earned $640.5 million globally without releasing in China.

It has grossed $369.7 million in China so far, making it the third biggest western release ever.
The last record that Avengers: Infinity War broke was hitting the billion dollar mark in just 11 days.
