Razer has updated their Razer Blade laptop as well as introduce the all-new Razer Core X eGPU.
The new Razer Blade comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD display with up to a 144Hz refresh rate. It can also be optioned with a 4K display that is also a touchscreen and has 100% Adobe RGB colour support.
The laptop’s display has 4.9mm bezels around it and places the webcam at the top of the screen.
The new Razer Blade is just 16.8 mm (0.66-inches) thin and made from CNC milled aluminum and has a scratch resistant anodized black finish. It also has Razer’s Chroma RGB backlit keyboard.
The laptop comes with an 8th-Gen Intel Core i7 and can be optioned with a Nvidia GTX 1060 or 1070 with Nvidia’s Max-Q design. There’s also 16GB of RAM (expandable up to 32GB of RAM) and up to a 512GB SSD available.
The battery in the new Razer Blade is 80Wh and the laptop itself weighs only 4.56lbs (2.07kg). The laptop is considered VR-ready.
As for ports, there’s 3 USB 3.1 Type-A ports, one Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port, Mini DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0 and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Razer also announced the Razer Core X which is there new external graphics card enclosure. It can deliver desktop-quality graphics to PCs and Macs with Thunderbolt 3 and new graphics cards can easily be swapped in the enclosure.
In terms of Canadian pricing for the new Razer Blade, its as follows:

The new Razer Blade is available now from Razer’s website but only one model is currently available as noted above. It’s available in Canada, US, France, United Kingdom, Germany, and China.
The Razer Core X is available now for $389 CAD ($299 USD) from Razer’s website.
