Microsoft has introduced a new version of their business smart display with the Surface Hub 2.
The Surface Hub 2 has a 50.5-inch multi-touch display with a 4K+ resolution with a 3:2 aspect ratio and thin bezels. That’s the same aspect ratio as some of Microsoft’s recent Surface devices like the Surface Studio and Surface Pro.
The display is sleeker and more agile than previous models, has 4K cameras that rotate with the device. It can also connect to Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Whiteboard, Office 365, Windows 10.
The device also has multi-user sign-in, so then they can all access their ideas, documents and merge them with other teammates for better collaboration.
You can even have multiple Surface Hub 2s around a room to each serve a different purpose. Microsoft partnered with Steelcase to create mounts and rolling cases for Surface Hub 2.
Microsoft sold about 5000 of their previous Surface Hub but they’re trying to change that with the Surface Hub 2.
The Surface Hub 2 will be available to test with select commercial customers later this year and available for purchase in 2019.
