Dell has announced a slew of updated devices including an updated XPS 15 & XPS 15 2-in-1, Inspiron All-in-Ones and new Alienware PCs.

XPS 15 & XPS 15 2-in-1 (2018)

Dell says that their new XPS 15 is the smallest 15.6-inch performance laptop in the world. It can be optioned with an UltraSharp 4K Ultra HD InfinityEdge touch display with Adobe RGB.

The XPS 15 can be optioned with the latest 8th-Gen Intel Core processors (including the new Intel Core i9) and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti. The laptop comes in a platinum silver finish. There’s also Windows Hello support via an optional fingerprint reader that’s integrated into the power button, Thunderbolt 3 ports and HDMI 2.0.

The XPS 15 will be available on May 10th and from $1,299.99 CAD.

The XPS 15 2-in-1 has similar specs to the XPS 15 with the options like the InfinityEdge 4K display. The laptop is around 16mm thin which makes it the world’s smallest and thinnest 15-inch 2-in-1.

The XPS 15 2-in-1 is available now from $1,999.99 CAD in a silver colour, a brushed onyx colour will be coming in May.

Inspiron AIOs

Inspiron 27 5000 AIO

The new Inspiron 22 and 24 3000 All-in-Ones have 7th-Gen Intel Core processors, up to 16GB of Ram and Nvidia GeForce MX110 discrete graphics. They’ll be available in black and white colour options.

The Inspiron 22 has a 21.5-inch FHD IS display while the Inspiron 24 has 23.8-inch FHD IPS display. The Inspiron 22 and 24 3000 All-in-Ones will start at $549.99 CAD.

Dell also announced the Inspiron 24 5000 AIO which has 8th-Gen Intel Core processors, up to 32GB of RAM, optional Nvidia GeForce 1050 graphics and a 23.8-inch InfinityEdge IPS display with antiglare.

Dell Inspiron 24 5000

The Inspiron 24 5000 AIO will have Windows Hello support via an optional IR-camera or via Cortana voice recognition. The AIO will start at $1,099.99 CAD and ship on April 17th.

Dell also announced the Inspiron 27 5000 AIO which has 8th-Gen Intel Core processors, optional Nvidia GTX 1050 graphics, a 27-inch InfinityEdge display that can be optioned up to 4K UHD, and up to 1TB HDD and 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD.

Dell Inspiron 27 7000

The AIO is capable of HDR and running virtual reality. The Inspiron 27 5000 AIO will also ship on April 17th and start at $1,299.99 CAD.

Vostro 15 7000

Dell also announced the Vostro 15 7000 which has the latest 6-core 8th-Gen Intel Core processor, Nvidia GTX 1060 and uses Nvidia’s Max-Q design that allows for powerful laptops to come in a thinner body, like the Asus ROG Zephyrus that was announced last year.

The Vostro 15 7000 comes with an FHD display, up to 1TB HDD, 512GB SSD or dual drives for up to 32GB of RAM. It’ll come in two colours, Platinum Silver and Bali Blue Metalic.

No pricing or availability has been announced for the Vostro 15 7000.

Dell G Series

Dell also announced a new line of gaming laptops with the Dell G Series. The new lineup uses Nvidia’s Max-Q design technology and packs a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060.

Dell G3 15

There are a few options in the new G Series, the first is the G3 15 and G3 17. As the names imply, one has a 15-inch display and the other a 17-inch display. Both have 2×2 WiFi antenna design which will help with better wireless performance.

Dell G3 17

The G3 15 is 22.7mm thin and the G3 17 is 25mm and can be optioned with up to a Intel Core i7. The G3 15 is Dell’s thinnest gaming laptop to date. The G3 15 will come in three colours, Black, Recon Blue and Alpine White while the G3 17 comes in two colours, Black and Recon Blue. The G3 15 will start at $1,099.99 CAD and the G3 17 at $1,199.99 CAD and both will ship on April 16th.

The G5 and G7 15 can have the same Max-Q design technology and a Nvidia GTX 1060. They can be optioned with up to an 8th-Gen Intel Core i7 on the G5 15 and up to an Intel Core i9 on the G7 15, as well as dual fans, dual drives and SSD options.

The G7 15 can be optioned with a 4K UHD display. Both laptops are designed to push heat and noise away from the user.

The G5 15 will be available in two colours, Standard Black and Beijing Red and starts at $1,199.99 CAD. While the G7 15 comes in Standard Black and Alphine White and starts at $1,199.99 CAD. The G5 15 and G7 15 will both be available on April 16th.

New Alienware laptops

Dell also announced two new gaming laptops under their Alienware brand with the Alienware 15R4 and 17R5.

Both laptops are made of anodized aluminum, magnesium alloy, and steel-reinforcements with copper thermal management. The laptops can be optioned up to an Intel Core i9 processor and can be overclocked to 5Ghz, 4K UHD displays, up to a Nvidia GTX 1080, 32GB of RAM and 1TB SSD/1TB HDD.

The Alienware 15R4 comes with their Presence Detection Software which uses Tobii Aware Software. The Alienware 17R5 has the same Presence software as well as Tobii Eye Tracking software.

The Alienware 15R4 starts at $1,899.99 CAD and the 17R5 starts at $2,099.99 CAD with both shipping on April 10th.

In addition, Dell also announced a new rewards program called Alienware Area Rewards. Members can earn points through games and community engagement which can be used towards discounts and other financial benefits.
