Oculus has announced that their upcoming Oculus Go headset will be manufacturer by Xiaomi as part of a partnership.
Also part of the deal, Xiaomi will be making the Mi VR Standalone headset exclusively for the Chinese market. It will have Oculus technology built-in and support for the Oculus Mobile SDK.

Both the Oculus Go and Xiaomi Mi VR Standalone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Mobile VR processor.
Xiaomi is also working with Oculus developers to localize some content from the Oculus Store to bring it to the Mi VR Store in China.
The Oculus Go was announced back in October last year and is set to go on sale on the coming months for $199 USD. The headset doesn’t require a phone or PC to use.
