Dell refreshes its XPS 13 laptop for 2018

Dell has announced a refreshed XPS 13 for 2018 with a new InfinityEdge 4K display along with the latest Intel processors.

Dell says the new XPS 13 is smaller, thinner and lighter than the outgoing model making it the smallest 13-inch laptop on the market. The laptop has a next-generation InfinityEdge 4K display which should make videos (especially Netflix content) look amazing. You can also get the XPS 13 with a 1080p display.

It’s being powered by the 8th Gen Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, up to 16GB of RAM. For storage options, you can get it with a 128, 256, 512 or 1TB SSD.

For ports, there’s 2 Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports, 1 USB-C 3.1 port, a microSD card reader and a headphone jack. There is an option for a Windows Hello fingerprint reader in the power button.

You can expect up to 19 hours of battery life and is 52WHr. New this year, is the Rose Gold colour option with an alpine white woven glass fiber palm rest.

The 2018 XPS 13 is available today and it starts at $1,399 CAD ($999 USD).
