After being announced at WWDC 2017, Apple has announced that their “most powerful Mac”, the iMac Pro will be available for purchase on December 14th.
The specs are as follows, it has a 27-inch 5K display, either 8-core, 10-core or 18-core Xeon processor with 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of DDR4 RAM. For storage, the iMac Pro will come with a 1TB SDD but can be configured to 2TB or 4TB SSD.
Inside, you’ll find the Radeon Pro Vega 56 graphics processor with 8GB of video memory, it can be configured with a the same GPU but with 16GB of video memory. The computer is capable of outputting up to 22 teraflops of power.

As for ports, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack, SD card slot, 4 USB 3.0 ports, 3 USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 support and an Ethernet port.
The iMac Pro comes in a nice Space Grey colour with a matching Space Grey Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse 2. There will also be a special black USB-A to Lighting cable in the box, to charge the Magic Mouse and Magic Keyboard.
The standard configuration comes with a 3.2GHz 8-core Intel Xeon W processor, 32GB of RAM, 1TB SSD, Radeon Pro Vega 56 with 8GB of video ram for $6,299 CAD.
The 10-core processor will set you back $7,259 CAD, the 14-core will cost $8,219 CAD and the 18-core version will cost you $9,179 CAD. You price will vary depending on configuration.
