Snapchat introduces Context Cards

Snapchat has introduced a new feature called Context Cards. These will help users get more information about a Snap their viewing.

How it works is that when you’re viewing a Snap with a geotag, you’ll see an option to swipe up for more. Once you do that,  you’ll see some of the new Context Cards.

You’ll be able to see things like reviews, tips, ride request and more info (phone numbers, directions, website) about a place. At launch, you’ll see Context Cards by Tripadvisor, Foursquare, Michelin and more.

Simple actions such as ordering a Uber or booking a table via OpenTable will be available via Context Cards. Snapchat will also be integrating Stories into a Context Cards of places that interest you.

Snapchat is working to include more partners and additional info to their Context Cards.

Context Cards is available now in Canada, US, UK, Australia and New Zealand on Android and iOS.
