Bob’s Burgers Movie coming to theatres in 2020

20th Century Fox has announced that a Bob’s Burgers movie is on its way. The movie is set for a July 17th, 2020 release date.

The animated series has received critical acclaim in recent years, the show just won an Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program for the season 7 episode, Bob Actually. The show previously won an Emmy back in 2014 for the episode, Mazel-Tina.

“We’re thrilled to be invited to bring Bob’s Burgers to the big screen,” show creator Loren Bouchard said. “We know the movie has to scratch every itch the fans of the show have ever had, but it also has to work for all the good people who’ve never seen the show. We also know it has to fill every inch of the screen with the colors and the sounds and the ever so slightly greasy texture of the world of Bob’s – but most of all it has to take our characters on an epic adventure. In other words, it has to be the best movie ever made. But no pressure, right?!”

The series revolves around the lives of the Belcher family, Bob (H. Jon Benjamin), Linda (John Roberts) and their three kids, Tina (Dan Mintz), Gene (Eugene Mirman) and Louise (Kristen Schaal) as they run a hamburger restaurant.

If you haven’t been watching, then you’re missing out on one of the best animated series to come out in the past decade. There’s no better time to start watching the show, then right now. Season 8 of the show just premiered on Fox.
