2017 Google Special Anniversaries/Birthdays

Google.com was registered 20 years ago

Today marks the 20th anniversary of when Google co-founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin registered the domain, google.com.

Originally the duo used Stanford’s website to make their search engine with google.standford.edu.

Google has come along way, from being just a search engine to now a company worth billions.

In less than a year from now, the company will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of its incorporation (September 4th, 1998 to be exact).

So here’s to Google’s 20th domain-iversary.
