Bethesda has announced release dates for some of their upcoming VR titles.
The first is Skyrim VR which will be coming exclusively to PlayStation VR on November 17th. The game has been completely reimagined with VR in mind. All three of Skyrim’s expansions will be playable in the VR version of the game. Keep in mind that Skyrim VR is a separate game and not just update for the Skyrim Special Edition released last year for the latest generation of consoles.
Keep in mind that Skyrim VR is a standalone game and not just update for the Skyrim Special Edition released last year for the latest generation of consoles.
Next up is DOOM VFR, which will offer the same fast-paced, brutal gameplay that fans have come to know and love with the immersion of virtual reality.
You play as a “cybernetic survivor who is activated by the UAC to fight the demon invasion, maintain order, and prevent catastrophic failure at the Mars facility. Lay waste to an army of demonic foes as you explore and interact with the outlandish world of DOOM from an entirely new perspective.”
DOOM VFR will be available for PlayStation VR and HTC Vive on December 1st but will only be $30 USD because you’re getting less content than the main game.
And finally, Fallout 4 VR will be coming to HTC Vive on December 12th. The VR version of Fallout 4 will offer all-new combat, crafting and building systems that have been adapted for virtual reality.
Keep in mind that Fallout 4 VR is a standalone game (just like Skyrim VR), so you’ll need to purchase it separately, it is not an update for the standard version of Fallout 4.
