After the Note7 debacle last year, fans of Samsung’s Note lineup are eagerly waiting for the arrival of the Note8. But famed leaker, Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) has our best look at the Note8 so far.
The Note8 looks identical to the Galaxy S8+ and should have a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with the same 18.5:9 aspect ratio. As for specs, it’s also said to be powered by the Snapdragon 835 / Exynos 8895 processor with 6GB of RAM.
It looks like the Note8 will also have the same rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as on the S8 & S8+, a 3,300mAh battery, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, wireless charging, DeX support and of course the Note line’s signature S Pen. It will also have a dual 12-megapixel camera (one RGB and one monochrome).
Here’s the Note8 compared to the standard S8.
Samsung will officially announce the Note8 on August 23rd at an Unpacked event in New York City at 11 am ET (8 am PT).
