RED, the high-end camera company, has announced their first Android smartphone with the Hydrogen One.

The Hydrogen One will have a 5.7-inch Professional Hydrogen Holographic display which can be used to watch 2D/3D VR content as well as holographic multi-view content. You can also use the device to watch augmented reality and mixed reality content.

The Hydrogen One will also be able to seamlessly switch between traditional 2D content, holographic multi-view content, 3D content, and interactive games.

For audio, the device will be able to convert stereo sound into expansive multi-dimensional audio, which is possible using the company’s H30 algorithm. The Hydrogen One will be modular and future attachments will allow users to shoot higher quality videos and phones. The device will also be able to work with the company’s Scarlet, EPIC and Weapon cameras and use the Hydrogen One as a monitor.
