Disney and Lucasfilm have announced releases dates for the third installment the Star Wars sequel trilogy and the fifth chapter in the Indiana Jones series.
Star Wars: Episode IX is set for a May 24th, 2019 release date and will be directed by J.J. Abrams. The next Indiana Jones is set for a July 10th, 2020 release date and Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford will be returning.
Disney also announced release dates for some of their other films, Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 has been pushed back from March 9th, 2018 to November 21st, 2018.
Disney’s adaption of the 1963 novel, A Wrinkle in Time will be releasing on March 9th, 2018 and Mark Waters’ family comedy, Magic Camp, which stars Jeffrey Tambor, Gillian Jacobs and Adam DeVine will release on April 6th, 2018.
Also coming in 2018, is Solo: A Star Wars Story, on May 25th and is being directed by Ron Howard.
The Lion King live-action reboot will hit theatres on July 19th, 2019 and is being directed by Jon Favreau. Frozen 2 will make its way to theatres on November 27th, 2019.
Disney also announced that they’re pushing back the release of Gigantic from November 21st 2018 to November 25th, 2020.
