In the 2nd year of a two-year deal which started in the 2016 season, Samsung will be using their products and technologies to bring new experiences to Blue Jays fans in-stadium, online and on Sportsnet.
Blue Jays centre fielder, Kevin Pillar will be joining Samsung as a brand ambassador. As for some of the experiences, fans can expect, they can expect new perspectives on the games, with behind-the-scenes footage for Gear VR, which was shot on the Gear 360.

Samsung will also be the official 4K sponsor of Blue Jays games on Sportsnet. All 81 of the home games will be broadcast in 4K with stunning detail. In addition, Samsung will be integrating their technology and brand into the in-stadium experience.

Also, new for this year on Sportsnet, is the Play Under Review feature, which is powered by the Samsung QLED TV. By using a slow-mo camera, fan will be able to see never-before-seen details and true-to-life colours on game-changing plays. The new Radio Frequency (RF) handheld camera, which works on the Galaxy S8, will let fans get closer with a behind-the-scenes perspective after every home run.
