Just days after Google had announced that live-location tracking was coming to Google Maps, Facebook has announced that a similar feature is rolling out to Messenger.
To use the feature, all you have to do is press the location icon while in a conversation and then you can share your location for 60 minutes with your recipient. And to stop sharing your location, just press the stop sharing button which also shows you how much time is left.
Meanwhile Google Maps’ feature lets you share you location in real-time for how any amount you choose.
Facebook says the new feature is rolling out globally now for iOS and Android.
