2017 Android App Google iOS

Google Allo gets easier access to the Assistant and improved GIFs & emojis

Even though it’s been a few months since Google release their latest messaging app, Allo, they are still adding some features to the app (even if not many people are using it).

For starters, Google is making it easier to access the Assistant within a chat on Allo with just one tap.

Instead of typing out “@google” every time you want ask the Assistant something, there will now be a Assistant button in the text box. One tap and then you can start typing your query for the Assistant.

Some of the other changes that Google is adding is a new GIF search feature which is can be accessed once you press the emoji/sticker button in the text box. Then you scroll all the way to the left and then you’ll be able to search for the perfect GIF.

Also, Google is introducing animated emojis in Allo. To do this, all you have to do is choose an emoji (which only about 10 are support now) and then touch and hold on the send button and drag up and your emoji will come to life.

All of these new features are rolling out to Allo now for the Android app and iOS later on.
