The Galaxy Book (the new name for the TabPro lineup) is Samsung’s newest Windows-based 2-in-1 tablet.
The Galaxy Book comes in two screen sizes, a 10.6-inch with a TFT LCD display and a 12-inch with a Super AMOLED display. The Galaxy Book 10.6″ will have a 7th Gen Intel Core m3 processor while the Galaxy Book 12″ will have a 7th Gen Intel Core i5 processor. You’ll also find two USB Type-C ports on the 12-inch Galaxy Book and only on the 10.6-inch Galaxy Book.

No pricing or availability was announced for any of the Galaxy Book models.
New Gear VR
Tablets weren’t the only thing that Samsung announced at MWC 2017, they also announced an new Gear VR with a Touch controller.
The new controller for the Gear VR will offer one-hand control and better motion interaction while also minimizing head movement for a better user experience.
The new touch controller will allow for quicker selection and interactions with in VR apps. It can also allow for more motion controls while gaming in VR. On the controller, you’ll find a clickable touchpad, a trigger, home button, back button and a volume rocker. The controller takes 2 AAA batteries that should last about 40 days with an average of 2 hours of daily use.
The new Gear VR headset looks similar to the one that was announced alongside the Note 7, with the ability to change to either microUSB or USB Type-C connector. The new headset is compatible with the Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, Note 5, S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+ and presumably the upcoming Galaxy S8 and it’s variants.
No pricing was announced for the new Gear VR with Controller but expect it to be around the same price or slightly higher than the outgoing model.
