Microsoft has recently announced their new app for Android, called Hyperlapse. The app can capture video from your camera and makes it into a smooth, sped-up time lapse video. Microsoft says that it is more complicated that you think.
The app can also convert existing videos, unlike Instagram’s HyperLapse iOS app (which only record time lapse videos).

There are also versions of Microsoft’s Hyperlapse app available as a Windows desktop application. While the Hyperlapse Mobile app is available for Android and Windows Phone.
