HTC held a press event in New York, to take the wraps of their new flagship device, the HTC ONE.
It runs Android 4.1.2 with HTC’s new Sense 5, it sports a 4.7 inch 1080p LCD 3 Display (with 468 DPI and Gorilla Glass 2). It features Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz and with 2GB of RAM. It has a non-removable 2300 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery, radios for WiFi (a/ac/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and either 32 or 64 GB or storage (with NO MicroSD Card Slot).
It has a rear-facing 4-Megapixel (Yes you read that correctly) BSI Sensor and f/2.0 lens and each megapixel is meant to gather 300% more light than other smartphone cameras. It can also record in 1080p video and 60 fps. The HTC ONE also features a 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera with 1080p video recording capabilities. The main home screen in Sense 5 features your “Blinkfeed” which shows you your most important information (but apparently it won’t show your emails) all in a “Flipboard” type of way.
The HTC ONE will be globally available in March with HSPA and LTE models.
